**General Accountability**:

- Provides coordination on project activities through the project lifecycle, from initial planning to completion. Provides support to ensure projects are delivered within budget and on schedule. Assigned projects are of medium to high complexity.**Key Job Functions**:

- Coordinate and conduct various Compensation Services related projects ranging from large to small and long-term to short-term from initial planning to completion.
- Act as a key point of contact. Liaise and coordinate with the project team, TTC staff and external stakeholders as required to collaborate and exchange informaton.
- Participate in the development and implementation of departmental business plans, budget objectives and workforce requirements. Develop project schedules based on input from the project team.
- Provide project control support for all aspects of the Capital Budget preparation and monitoring, as well as cost analysis and cost reconciliations for assigned projects.
- Perform a variety of cost/budget studies and research assignments, requiring analysis and interpretation of data.
- Monitor progress and performance against established terms of reference and work plans. Prepare variance reports and explanations for management, identifying potential problem areas and recommend corrective action as required.
- Coordinate the preparation of weekly and monthly reports related to future project requirements, workload forecasts, and performance measurement reporting.
- Track and monitor outstanding issues to ensure timely resolution.

**Education and Experience**:

- Completion of a post-secondary college diploma or university degree in a related discipline or a combination of education, training and experience deemed to be equivalent.

**Additional Requirements**:

- Knowledge of procurement/contracting principles, the development of contract documents, and the tender evaluation/award process
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawing and specifications
- Knowledge of project management concepts and practices involving several technical fields
- Knowledge of cost control and scheduling techniques
- Sound judgement; well-developed analytical, administrative and leadership skills; excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness of section/department operations
- Ability to be tactful, diplomatic and possess a high degree of interpersonal skills to communicate and deal with people effectively in difficult and stressful situations
- Able to direct and motivate TTC personnel and contract employees to achieve project completion
- Must have or rapidly acquire comprehensive knowledge of the Ontario Human Rights Code and related Orders including disability accommodation and accessibility requirements pertaining to passengers and employees
