The Canadian Celiac Association Edmonton Chapter (CCA Edmonton Chapter) seeks a permanent, part-time Program Coordinator who is a self-motivated, proactive, task
- juggling performer who enjoys engaging with people.

**About the Organisation**:
CCA Edmonton Chapter is a volunteer charitable organisation incorporated under the Alberta Societies Act in 1984. The organisation advocates for those with celiac disease and gluten sensitivity by providing education, awareness and support programs.

**About the Position**:
Reporting to the President and working closely with Officers, the Board and its committees, the Program Coordinator (PC) facilitates and executes the programs and services of the CCA Edmonton Chapter in alignment with Celiac Canada under the board's directives. The PC raises awareness of Celiac Disease and facilitates services and programs designed to educate and support children, youth, adults, seniors, families, and the public affected by Celiac Disease and managing a gluten-free diet. The PC will plan, organise, implement, and facilitate existing and new fundraising, membership, programs, events, and initiatives; identify and recommend budget requirements, strategies, and opportunities; manage relationships with sponsors; and recruit, train and supervise volunteers.
- This is a permanent, part-time position, with a flexible schedule, averaging 25 hours per week. Note: some evenings and weekends are required to support programs, events and Board meetings.
- This position may be hybrid, following completion of a probationary period.

- Being motivated to learn will assist you in growing your skills in volunteer recruitment, securing sponsorship along with event planning and implementation, including media promotion.

**Required Knowledge and Skills**:

- Proficiency using Google Workspace apps and features not limited to Gmail, Drive, Meet, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficiency as a Zoom presenter and meeting organiser.
- Proficiency in social media administration and promotion.
- Excellent communication skills in written, verbal and public speaking, both online and in person.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and proven success in building inclusive community and professional relationships.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a demonstrated history of working unsupervised and in a collaborative team environment.
- Demonstrated success in managing multiple deadlines in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Demonstrated success and/or advanced understanding in developing and following project budgets.
- Experience leading or organising public events.

**Preferred Knowledge and Skills**

The following knowledge and skills would be an asset to the PC:

- Knowledge of Celiac Disease and managing a gluten-free diet.
- Knowledge of registered charity or not-for-profit operations and requirements.
- Knowledge of donorship and payment platforms (i.e. Square, Zeffy, CanadaHelps, Fundscript)

**What we offer**:

- Flexible part-time schedule.

**Compensation**
- $31,200 - $39,000 per annum ($24.00-$30.00 per hour) to be determined based on qualifications and experience.
- 3% Cost of living allowance annually.
- Annual review with possible increase determined by proven results and performance.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Expected hours: 25 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)
