As the Head of the Provincial Sign Shop, you will lead a team of professionals and manage the day-to-day operations of the Provincial Sign Shop. This will require a strong understanding of the design, fabrication, and installation of highway signs, as well as the ability to coordinate with other stakeholders to ensure that our services meet their needs.

**About Us**:
The Provincial Sign Shop is part of MTO's Operations Division, Highway Operations Management Branch. The sign shop is responsible for the design and fabrication of provincial signs for all provincial highways across the province, from Kenora to Ottawa and Windsor to Fort Severn. Clients include MTO's Divisions, other ministries, municipalities, and the Federal Government.

**What can I expect to do in this role?**: Reporting to the Director, Highway Operations Management Branch, you will:

- Plan, lead and manage the operations of the Provincial Sign Shop.

**Technical Knowledge and Expertise**:

- You have knowledge and expertise regarding provincial highway signing requirements (i.e. ministry policies, procedures, practices, standards and guidelines, graphic design, layout, specifications, signing materials, production and automation technology).
- You have knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act and WHMIS to ensure adherence to safe working practices and procedures.
