**Job Description**:

SSR Mining - Seabee Gold Operation (SGO) is hiring for an Operational Excellence Advisor.

About Your New Role:
Reporting to the Superintendent, Mine Engineering, the Operational Excellence Advisor, has a diverse skill set that allows them to support various site wide planning/scheduling processes and to establish data collection/management that is essential in today’s mining industry. You are responsible for creating, designing, and developing best practices regarding mine integration in planning and scheduling to support achievement of targets. You will establish a proper data management program for the mine and then change their focus to the entire site. Seabee Mine has a major need to properly collect and streamline the data so that it is value added and being utilized in a useful and efficient way that helps us make better business decisions.

Your Key Responsibilities:
- Aiding the mine planning and operations team with well-organized and clear data analysis.- Supporting OE initiatives.- Supporting site integration on planning, scheduling, and reporting.- Providing critical support on site financial decision making and business direction.- Create a strong safety culture through engagement and empowering others.- Engagement in all engineering and operations functions and ensuring that service and operating guidelines are executed with excellence.- Alignment with the Company’s SHEMS system as it applies to the Technical Services Department.- Begin training in operation excellence (green belt training).

Your Knowledge and Skills:
- Must be proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerBI, Access, Azure, and experience with Deswik, Surpac, and AutoCad would be considered an asset but not required.- Proficiency in technical writing.- Excellent interpersonal/relationship skills - ability to work and communicate with individuals and groups at all levels of the organization, written and oral.- High attention to detail, strong work ethic and excellent organizational skills.- Proven ability to effectively prioritize duties and solve problems.- The ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment with the utmost professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.- A positive and proactive attitude towards teamwork and safety.

Your Education and Experience:
- Diploma of Technology or bachelor’s degree in Mine Engineering or a related field.- Minimum seven (7) years’ experience in an underground environment.

About Our Working Conditions:
This position has a schedule of 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off at our remote camp which you will be required to fly in fly out with pick up points in Saskatoon, Prince Albert and La Ronge.
