**BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE**

The **Business Development Representative (BDR)** role we are recruiting for will be reporting into our senior sales team based throughout Ontario. To fully enjoy the MetrixData 360 experience, your presence will be required onsite with our team at our Peterborough corporate office. Your primary responsibility will be to convert marketing leads and prospecting activities into sales opportunities.

**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Work with Marketing on lead conversion from webinars, events, social media and demand generation initiatives
- Research, identify and prospect for new customers
- Present our company to potential prospects
- Identify prospect’s needs and suggest appropriate products/services
- Qualify potential prospects by performing activities and asking questions to identify product fit with our products and services
- Set up meetings between qualified prospects and Sales Executives
- Ensure that booked meetings occur by running follow up sequences with prospects to provide value and ensure they attend calls

- Ability to communicate with senior sales leaders
- Excellent people skills with the ability to explain issues and offer solutions to those without technical training
- Ability to demonstrate willingness to be persistent, overcome objections, and troubleshoot problems
- Knowledge of Software Asset Management processes, policies and best practices is an asset
- A motivated self-starter who will always strive to identify and implement improvements that will continue to drive our business forward
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related Software
- Demonstrate ability to work with little supervision
- Ability to work well independently in addition to working as part of a team
**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**
- Some post-secondary education in business, sales or relevant work experience.
- Previous sales experience in software/technology is an asset.

Base Pay - $45,000 to $50,000 per year plus Performance Bonus/Special Bonuses based on mutually agreed targets post hire
