**HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE**:

- Overseeing the daily operations of the Pride Lounge
- Recruiting, training, managing, and supporting volunteers of the Pride Lounge
- Developing 2SLGBTQIA+ programming for the NorQuest community
- Providing direct support to NorQuest community members, including making appropriate referrals when necessary
- Providing in-class educational support and resources to instructors and staff
- Supporting student-led initiatives focused on awareness and support for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community
- Consulting on 2SLGBTQIA+ related policies and procedures
- Leading the NorQuest pride committee and providing oversight of all related initiatives
- Leading activities and serving as the primary point of contact for all community members to build a more supportive, inclusive environment

**WHAT YOU BRING**:

- University degree in social work, psychology, women and gender studies, education policy studies or a related disciple. Master's degree preferred.
- Subject matter expertise in support and advocacy of 2SLGBTIA+ communities within a post-secondary setting
- Crisis de-escalation training, GBA+ and/or ASSIST training
- Minimum of 3 years of direct experience working with the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and supporting student needs
- Experience with supporting individuals through a trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, decolonial lens
- Experience with volunteer coordination and volunteer management
- Experience with program development and adult education
- Knowledge and experience navigating barriers in implementing programming in post-secondary environments, particularly equity-based programming

**SALARY**:$67,798 - $88,037** **reflective upon what you bring AKA your education and experience. This is a full-time permanent position with immediate access to our great pension and benefit programs.
