The Retail Store Manager unites their teams around purpose and fun, while setting expectations that create a revolutionary shopping experience for our guests. They are responsible for managing over

all store operations, and optimizing financial performance.

**What Will I Be Doing?**
- Collaborating with the Marketing team to develop a marketing store strategy
- Supporting, developing, and reporting on store objectives and key results (OKR's); suggesting new operational strategies to improve store performance and productivity
- Collaborating with Buying and Merchandising teams to ensure the stores meet presentation standards, are fully stocked, and meeting guest needs and expectations.
- Regularly analyzing operating and financial performance. In collaboration with General Manager, and manage sales targets, discount and clearance schedules and sales promotions that optimize margin.
- Developing and executing loss-prevention planning for each store location.
- Optimizing NPS and OSAT scores proactively analyzing trends and opportunities that will improve experiences. Collaborating with the Manager of the Guest Experience Systems to meet all objectives related to the Guest Experience System.
- Understanding the 5-year strategic plan; executing annual tactics in collaboration with Director; communicating results and changes to appropriate audiences.
- Contributing to annual departmental operating budgets as required; ensuring expenses, labour scheduling and where applicable, revenues meet budgeted targets and making adjustments as required; training and communicating budget requirements to subordinate leaders to ensure monthly results are achieved.
- Executing and communicating the expectations related to the Business Unit Plans.
- Based on defined expectations, ensuring appropriate resources and developing training and communication for departmental service delivery and operations that create revolutionary guest experiences and achieving OKR's.
- Ensuring and advocating for the appropriate resources that deliver a highly productive, efficient environment with mínimal downtime and that produce high quality product(s).
- Promoting, developing, participating in, and delivering programming and training that unites employees around purpose and fun, resulting in high employee engagement, retention and return rates.
- Fostering a culture of collaboration between departments that achieves the company's mission and targets.
- Promoting, developing, participating in and delivering programming and training that ensures compliance with all legislated requirements and company policies.
- Actively participating in the selection of subordinate leaders and front-line team.
- Representing Blue Mountain with external organizations, consultants, suppliers, customers and special-interest groups as required.

**What Do You Need From Me?**
- A minimum of 5 years of previous retail leadership experience; preferably from the Leisure/Sports retail industry.
- College or University degree or equivalent experience.
- Ability to lead by example, demonstrate and ensure a safe working environment.
- Strong Computer Knowledge including; Word & Excel..
