SFU Lifelong Learning, which encompasses SFU Continuing Studies and the SFU English Language and Culture Program, strives to be the leading provider of flexible, responsive education in British Columbia and beyond. The Office Coordinator is responsible for developing and maintaining processes and procedures that meet the business needs of Lifelong Learning. The role oversees the day-to-day activities of our offices at the Vancouver and Surrey campus, and provides guidance and support to staff on a range of administrative and operational matters.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Arts or Education and two years of related experience, including project management, finance and administration, office operations, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Excellent planning and project coordination skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal, written, and presentation) skills.
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent research and analytical skills with the ability to summarize complex information into reports.
- Excellent conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated ability to establish relationships and work cooperatively and effectively with others.
- Ability to work independently, establish priorities, meet deadlines and work on a number of different initiatives concurrently.
- Ability to handle highly confidential information and material with discretion.
- Ability to exercise mature judgment, initiative, diplomacy and tact.
- Ability to interpret policies and to develop recommendations.
- Ability to work in a highly demanding environment where issues are diverse and complex.
