**Virtual Writing Workshop Facilitators**

The team at Ripple Foundation is looking for facilitators to deliver our Write It Workshops for children aged 8-14 years on Zoom.

**As a workshop facilitator, your role and responsibility are to**:

- Deliver the Write It Workshop Series to children aged 8-14 years via Zoom.
- Work with other volunteers during the delivery of the workshop.
- Attend an online training session with other volunteers
- Collect feedback and comments from participants to be used for social media sharing.
- Provide feedback to the workshop manager

**Here's what we're looking for**:

- A Vulnerable Sector Check is required from the local police.
- Excellent communication skills that are effective with children.
- Engaging and positive interactions with children that maintain their attention.
- Patience working with students of diverse backgrounds and levels of understanding.
- Interpersonal skills to interact with organization co-ordinators and other peers.
- Teaching experience is an asset.
- Virtual experience on Zoom is an asset

This is a low commitment and flexible based on your availability. Each workshop is 1 hour in length and takes place on a Saturday afternoon that starts at either 1 pm or 2 pm. All lesson plans and workshop activities are provided. Your time commitment is to participate in the initial online training sessions and familiarizing yourself with all the lesson plans and workshop activities.
