**Material Planner**

**Job Summary**:
The Material Planner is responsible for overseeing the procurement, inventory control, and timely availability of materials required for production at Accuenergy. This role involves coordination with suppliers, production teams, and other stakeholders to optimize the flow of materials and minimize disruptions.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Demand Forecasting:

- Collaborate with various departments to understand production schedules and material requirements.
- Analyze historical data and market trends to forecast future demand.

2. Inventory Management:

- Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet production needs while minimizing carrying costs.
- Implement inventory control strategies to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.

3. Supplier Coordination:

- Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Negotiate terms, prices, and agreements with suppliers.
- Evaluate supplier performance and address any issues.

4. Order Processing:

- Generate purchase orders based on demand forecasts and production schedules.
- Track and manage order status, expediting as necessary.
- Coordinate with receiving and production teams to ensure seamless material flow.

5. Collaboration with Production:

- Work closely with production teams to understand changes in production schedules.
- Anticipate and address any potential material shortages or delays.
- Run MRP on daily basis.

6. Data Analysis and Reporting:

- Analyze data related to material usage, lead times, and supplier performance.
- Generate reports to provide insights into material planning metrics.

7. Continuous Improvement:

- Identify opportunities for process improvement in material planning and procurement.
- Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in material planning or a similar role.
- Familiarity with inventory management software and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
