Trans Power Utility Contractors Inc. is a prime contractor to various utility, industrial and commercial clients, providing for the installation of high voltage cable, transformers, switchgears, street and highway lighting, traffic signals, telecommunication equipment and natural gas plant. If you are a professional, organized, client-focused individual that is interested in working with a stable, highly reputable company within the GTA, we currently have an immediate opening for the position of **Project Coordinator**.

**Responsibilities**
- Working closely with the _Project Team, _take ownership of projects, and ensure the effective set-up, administration, coordination and invoicing of all assigned projects
- Receive, review, process, maintain, manage and ensure the accuracy of all documentation, plans, permits, drawings, specifications, costs, materials estimates, subcontracts, locates, project folders and related reports in an organized and consistent manner
- Cross reference tender drawings with construction drawings to identify variations
- Work with consultants and utilities to obtain contracts and POs
- Ensure material pricing is consistent with estimates
- Work with Field Supervisors and PMs to capture estimate changes orders
- Plan and set up construction activities, (including, but not limited to: crews, equipment, materials and scheduling activities), to provide clients with the accurate, timely, cost-effective and quality solutions that Trans Power is known for
- Maintain constant communication with, and provide ongoing updates to, key project stakeholders on a consistent basis, and ensure that project status and reporting updates are consistently and effectively delivered to the appropriate individuals
- Proactively escalate project issues and risks that require the Project Manager’s attention
- Comply fully with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations for Construction Projects
- Other related duties as required.

**Essential Skills**
- A high degree of professionalism, with the ability to work with little supervision, manage multiple tasks in an organized manner, produce quality and timely work, and meet strict deadlines
- Keen attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment
- Excellent communication, prioritizing, organizational, and time management skills to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- A high degree of proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

**Essential Qualifications**
- The completion of a relevant College or University program in a field including, but not limited to: Business Administration, Office Administration, Project Management or Construction Management.
- Experience in the utility and/or construction sector is considered a strong asset but not required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $50,000.00 per year
