**Job Overview**
The Resource Centre Facilitator provides the initial contact for Albertans accessing the Employment Centres.

**Duties**

**Resource Centre**
- Address inquiries
- Aid in basic job searches, both traditional and online methods.
- Assist in creating job search accounts, demonstrate and support with technology (computer, printer, phone, etc.) and documentation use.
- Refer individuals with complex needs to an Employment Facilitator or community support.
- Maintain a tidy and clean office environment.

**Workshop Facilitation**
- Promote and deliver a variety of in-person and virtual one-on-one and group workshops to prepare clients to explore, secure and maintain employment.
- Research, develop and enhance program curriculum and prepare instructional materials to meet the needs of participants.
- Assist clients with technology needs as required.
- Secure, schedule and support sessions offered by external instructors and guests.
- Manage workshop registration and track participant attendance.

**Community Involvement**
- Represent the Agency and promote available, services and programs to the communities.
- Collaborate with community partners, employers, and SCSS staff.
- Be knowledgeable about the resources available, and provide publications, tips and other community resources.
- Participate in networking, presentations, conferences, committees.
- Attend job fairs, labour market and other events.

**Your Qualifications**:
**Educational Background**:

- Diploma/Certificate in related field
- Required to have a valid class 5 driver's license and access to a vehicle.
- Clear criminal record check including vulnerable sector check

**Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office 365.
- Knowledge and understanding of database programs an asset.
- Proficiency with virtual meeting platforms (Teams, Google Meet, Zoom)

**Job Expertise/Experience**:

- Previous experience in resume development is an asset.
- Previous experience working with persons with disabilities or other at-risk populations preferred.
- Must have excellent customer service and office administration experience
- Must have knowledge of the labour market, employers, as well as community resources

- Ability to problem solve
- Proficiency in fostering positive professional relationships with employers, colleagues, and external partners

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
