Killam Apartment REIT (TSX: KMP.UN), based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, is one of Canada’s largest residential property owners, owning, operating, managing, and developing a diverse portfolio of apartments, commercial properties (totaling 1.2M square feet), manufactured homes, and seasonal properties.

We are currently searching for a professional **Commercial Leasing Representative** to support our Commercial Leasing team.

**In this role, the Commercial Leasing Representative**:

- Participates in the daily activities of commercial leasing operations in accordance with organization policies and standards.
- Reviews and negotiates new lease transactions and agreements and prepares relevant documentation.
- Administers all existing tenancy agreements, including renewals.
- Assists in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve efficiency and profitability of the division.
- Monitors trends for competition in the marketplace.
- Assists in the marketing of each property and ensures accurate and timely updates are made to all collateral, websites, etc.
- Maintains a network of local, regional, and national retail contacts and brokers.
- Coordinates with operational departments as required.
- Completes related administration.

**Additional information about this role**:

**The preferred qualifications include**:

- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma equivalent.
- A Nova Scotia real estate license.
- Minimum 2 - 4 years of experience in leasing, property management, or a related field.
