Inside Sales/junior Metal Buyer

We are transforming the way we work and want you to be a part of it The Junior Non Ferrous Metal Buyer is responsible for prospecting and cultivating new industrial customer accounts. The Non Ferrous Buyer will also be responsible for servicing current active accounts in accordance with operational standards to ensure contract and lead times are fulfilled accordingly.

**When**: This is an in office position.
**What’s expected**:
- Inside Sales - Develop new industrial accounts with industry partners to leverage the market effectively:
Conduct cold calls to potential customers or suppliers
Negotiate contract terms
Generate and provide quotes
Complete related administrative tasks
- Perform administrative functions in relation to the completion of contract:
Enter purchase and orders for industrial accounts.
Provide active industrial accounts with continued costumer service excellence and value-add propositions where possible.
Price accounts, and produce associated pricing letters
Manage orders to ensure they are fulfilled according to contracted weights and price
Coordinate unique and timely pick-up arrangements to meet demands of customers/suppliers and operations team
Other duties as assigned by Manager.
**What's Required**:
- Values that align with Triple M Metal’s Core Values of Respect, Integrity, Excellence, Team and Pride;
- Post-Secondary Education, College or University Diploma/Degree in Business, Sales, Finance and/or Marketing;
- 1 - 2 years cold calling sales experience in a similar or related industry;
- Superior communication skills both written and verbal;
- Valid G Class Drivers License with access to a reliable vehicle;
- A goal oriented self-starter who’s comfortable working with a team or individually;
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities with efficiency;
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of products.

- Previous experience with a CRM;
- Scrap or metal industry experience.
