**About our projects**

In Canada, Austroid Resources has four exploration projects: Chaloneau covering approximately 57km2, Mitshisso covering approximately 114km2, Manicouagan covering approximately 462km2, and North Mistassini covering approximately 434km2.

Chaloneau project is the company's primary focus in Canada, located approximately 125km north of the town of Chibougamau, Quebec, and is accessible year-round via the Route-du-Nord. Comprising 117 claims, the project surrounds Sayona's Moblan Lithium Project.

**About the role**

Due to anticipated growth within our exploration business unit in Montreal, we are seeking expressions of interest from experienced senior field specialists to support the Quebec exploration team in the position of **Exploration Logistics Coordinator**.

Reporting directly to the Exploration Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of field technicians to provide safe, effective, and efficient logistics, camp setup, field mapping, sampling, drilling campaigns and managing any other field support activities.

As Exploration Logistics Coordinator, your role will assist the Exploration Manager with the development of safe work procedures and fostering a safe work environment for the team. The role will also assist with ensuring compliance of all exploration activities with claim conditions and relevant government legislation and regulations. You will also be responsible for but not limited to the following:

- Initiating and developing relationships with key contractors and stakeholders
- Managing and coordinating all drill sampling activities, ensuring QA/QC protocols
- Managing and coordinating all site preparation and rehabilitation activities in accordance with requirements
- Managing the exploration mobile vehicle fleet and other equipment; tracking and monitoring safety, repairs and maintenance
- Purchasing and maintaining field equipment and consumables within approved budgets
- Assisting with the coordination of geophysical, geochemical and drone surveys
- Participate in surveys if required
- Lead and mentor the field team, ensuring they are trained and competent in all tasks required of them

**About You**

To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience working in remote field environments, setting up and managing small camps in Northern (Canada) Quebec, along with the following:

- Minimum 15 years’ exploration field experience
- Minimum 7 years’ experience as a Senior Field Technician supervising, mentoring, and training a team of Field Technicians
- Strong experience in mapping and prospecting, drilling, sampling and familiarity with QA/QC protocols to ensure appropriate sampling
- Proven experience in clearing, gridding, preparation and rehabilitation of drill sites
- Experience in HSET for exploration activities
- Organisational management skills with the ability to coach and mentor a field support team
- Experience with hazard identification, risk assessment and incident investigations
- Quebec 5 Class Drivers Licence
- First Aid Certificate
- GIS skills in the use of QGIS and ArcGIS
