**Shift Energy Group** is seeking a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our HR team in Victoria, BC. This role is pivotal in coordinating our recruitment activities across Canada, focusing on the construction and clean energy sectors.

Shift is a leading engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) company specializing in solar and energy storage projects. The **Talent Acquisition Coordinator** will implement various aspects of our staffing operations, including recruitment, hiring, onboarding, offboarding, and employee file management.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage the full recruitment cycle from sourcing to onboarding.
- Work closely with hiring managers and the HR manager to understand job requirements.
- Advertise vacancies on various platforms and participate in job fairs.
- Conduct reference checks, and assist in streamlining the onboarding process.

**Qualifications**:

- 1-2 years of HR or similar experience, focusing on recruitment. Relevant internships or co-op experiences are valuable.
- Associate or bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or construction management preferred. Alternatively, a high school diploma with significant relevant experience is acceptable.
- A professional diploma or certificate in recruitment or HR management is a plus.

**Skills**:

- Strong understanding of the recruitment cycle, especially in construction or related fields.
- Ability to coordinate talent acquisition smoothly.
- Problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing recruitment landscapes.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills for managing recruitment tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Must be fluent in English.
- Excellent with MS Office suite.
