Preventative Maintenance Technician Level 1

This position reports directly to the Branch Manager. The following summarizes some key elements of the role.
Preventative Maintenance Technician Level 1 operates within a team-oriented atmosphere that places a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction. The service department is an important area of our business, ensuring that our equipment is ready and available as well as maintaining a flow of information on that equipment for both the rental staff and the sales staff
**Preventative Maintenance Technician Level 1 Responsibilities**:
- Complete cleaning, washing and routine maintenance of construction equipment;
- Complete required documentation and data entry;
- Maintain cleanliness, organization and landscaping of work area, shop, yard and branch;
- Load and unload customer rental equipment;
- Maintain a safe working environment;
- Follow all Health and Safety policies, while maintaining a safe work environment;
- Other duties as assigned.
**Key Qualifications**:
- High school diploma
- Knowledge of industrial and construction equipment, an asset
- Customer service oriented
- Teamwork and collaboration
- Organizational skills
