**Receptionist**
Join our dynamic team as a Receptionist, where you’ll be at the heart of our Chinook Care Centre operations and have the exciting opportunity to provide support across our facility. If you’re a proactive, organized, and personable individual with a passion for providing support and making a difference, we’d love to hear from you
Reporting to the Facility Leader, the individual is responsible to provide a comprehensive, efficient and professional reception service and to provide clerical and administrative support to the office and the management staff. The individual will work as a team player to provide excellent customer service for residents, guests and staff.
Work Location: Chinook Care Centre

**Accountabilities**:
- Consistently demonstrates values - Respect, Compassion and Commitment.
- Provides a pleasant telephone manner and welcoming presence upon entrance.
- Greets and assists all residents, guests and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
- Follows proper procedure to open and close desk/office.
- Provides and ensures all courier packages are distributed and sent on time to proper locations.
- Provides and ensures all corporate and resident mail is distributed and sent in a timely manner.
- Responsible for accurate distribution of resident trust funds.
- Responsible for accurate distribution of petty cash to staff and corporate departments.
- Ensures that monies are available for both residents and staff.
- Partners with accounting for reconciliation of petty cash and trust.
- Monitors and maintains office supply inventory for the facility.
- Orders office supplies for the facility as requested.
- Understands and adheres to health and safety responsibilities as outlined in the corporate health and safety policy.
- Deals with issues of conflict in the appropriate manner.
- Assists all fellow staff and performs duties as required
**Qualifications**:
- Two-year Post-Secondary Certificate/Diploma with Business focus; or equivalent preferred.
- 2 - 4 years’ experience as a Receptionist in healthcare field or equivalent.
- Excellent computer skills including MS Office Applications.
- Understand/ manage/ respond to varying priorities and use time management skills in order to meet short deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

- Strong problem solving skills and customer service.
.Ability to work independently and to work effectively as a member of a team.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
