Job Summary
As a Material Planner with Randstad Canada, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production departments. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team.

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Material Planner to create detailed planning reports that ensure our Production Departments meet or exceed master schedules. You will proactively identify critical shortages and work closely with Supply Chain to mitigate impacts on the schedule. Additionally, you will coordinate with cross-functional teams to break-in points of engineering and manufacturing changes, and ensure inventory accuracy across multiple facilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed planning reports to ensure Production Departments meet or exceed master schedules
- Proactively identify critical shortages and collaborate with Supply Chain to limit impacts on the schedule
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to break-in points of engineering and manufacturing changes
- Ensure inventory accuracy through reporting and monitoring across multiple facilities

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A university degree or college diploma in Materials & Operations Management or Business
- 1-2 years of experience in material planning, preferably with a strong working knowledge of Material Requirements Planning
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and take initiative when required

What We Offer
