Montreal Corporate Head Office, where most of their employees are based, offers career opportunities in Design, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Finance, IT and HR as well as in the Production and Warehousing facilities.

OBJECTIVE
Reporting to the Sr. Director, Production, the Supervisor of Trims purchasing is responsible, with the support of his/her team, to purchase and procure the appropriate merchandise according to the pre-established standards, based on production plan for the Joseph Ribkoff Brand. The Supervisor is also responsible to be a facilitator between the different departments within the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with vendor to purchase trims & organize external operation’s processes (send outs)
- Negotiate product quality, purchase quantity, landed cost, and delivery with vendors
- Follow-up with vendors/factories on all trims style and communicate any change or additional details
- Follow up with Sourcing, technical design and production along the purchasing and production process
- Develop and monitor the department’s KPIs
- Propose and develop action plans for improvements
- Ensure a positive Team Dynamic

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 years of experience in buying/purchasing
- Knowledge of the fashion industry
- Knowledge of Trims will be considered a major asset
- Knowledge in Power BI is an asset
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
- Analytical skills and detail oriented
- Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time and to work in a fast-paced environment
- Intermediate level Excel (filters, basic formulas, pivot, etc.)
- Bilingual (English and French) written and spoken
