Aquatics Team Leader

**Responsibilities would include**:
- Conduct classes in a fun and gentle environment, following current teaching methods, policies and safety and emergency procedures
- Using your training to teach these techniques to all new swim instructors who join our program
- Participate in the hiring process
- Onboard, train, and manage employees to maintain a smooth execution of daily aquatics operations.
- Observing classes and performing coaching reports to ensure proper safety protocols and swim techniques are being followed to British Swim School brand standards
- Conducting monthly in-service meetings and ongoing training for the instructor team
- Informing the Deck Representative of any needs or maintenance issues that need addressing
- Speaking to parents/customers about their children’s progress
- Other responsibilities as assigned by the Aquatics Director or Franchise Business Owner.

**Minimum Qualifications**:
- Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
- 1+ years of working with children.
- 1 year of supervisory experience
- Willing to learn and able to follow franchise brand standards and guidelines
- Have a responsible and professional demeanor.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Lifeguard certification or ability to renew
- Bilingual English & French (ability to communicate in French is a plus)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
Hours may include weekends, late afternoons, and early evenings

While we teach swimming to all ages and abilities, the majority of our students are preschool and elementary-aged children, so our Instructor team needs to enjoy working with this young age group while also putting parents at ease.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
