As a Cecil Venues Event Crew member, you will be expected to set up and teardown entire events within the Cecil Community Centre, as well as support and complete tasks during events as requested. Maintaining a **bright and positive attitude** when interacting the event goers is essential. Applicants must have **weekend availability** and occasional weekday afternoon availability.

Prior experience working as event staff is an asset, but not necessary. Please note this is a part-time freelance-type position.

**THE ROLE**
- Setting up elements at an event as directed by the event coordinator
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Reorganizing and cleaning décor
- Staging installations
- Aiding in packing up after the event
- Event prep leading up to the event
- Being assigned various tasks by the event coordinator
- Serving catered food for the event

**JOB QUALIFICATIONS**
- High level of attention to detail
- Able to follow direction well
- Lift up to 50 lbs and walk long distances over the course of a shift
- Capacity to be tolerant and collaborative in a team environment
- Excellent critical thinking abilities
- Solid performance under pressure
- Able to follow direction well
- Ability to create a pleasant event experience through positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
