- Located in Barrie and reporting to the Building Belonging Project Manager, the incumbent is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the Building Belonging: Culturally Connected Communities project including scheduling and coordinating meetings and activities. The coordinator will also support planning and facilitation of college and community events, as well as the development and promotion of international student resources associated with the international Mental Health and Well-being (MHWB) peer support program. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

- Collaborating with the project team and supporting the Project Manager in establishing day to day project requirements including scheduling and supporting on-going check ins and meetings with project team members
- Tracking and ensuring project deliverables are on track
- Coordinating the implementation of the marketing and communication plan and promoting associated MHWB services, events, activities, and resources for international students
- Responding to project related inquires and supporting communications amongst project partners
- Coordinating data collection and evaluation

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Successfully completed a three-year postsecondary diploma/degree in social work, counselling psychology or another related field
- Minimum of two years' experience working in a mental health related field, preferably in a postsecondary environment
- Experience with mental health system navigation including referrals to community resources and supports is required
- Experience in a postsecondary environment is an asset
- Experience marketing and communicating mental health related information via social media and other channels to effectively market this project to students
- Experience with Live Chat software is an asset
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Strong crisis and conflict management skills
- Peer support training in alignment with Mental Health Commission of Canada Peer Support Guidelines is an asset
- Suicide alertness training is an asset
