Four Arrows Regional Health Authority requires a Finance Clerk to work at their Winnipeg location. The Finance Clerk will report to our Interim Financial Director. Working with the Junior and Intermediate accountants, the Finance Clerk is primarily responsible for ensuring all accounts receivable functions are carried out in a timely manner. The incumbent is also responsible for several general accounting functions including the regular and timely preparation of accounts reconciliation, the generation of accounting reports as required. Salary will be based on experience and education. Range is 40,000 to 45,000. Per year.

**Responsibilities**:

- Organize filing of all appropriate documents.
- Store, update and retrieve financial data.
- Process claims and vouches for payment, enters invoices, match invoices with purchase orders, and check all claims for accuracy.
- Verify account codes and signatures.
- Perform clerical duties, such as maintaining filling and record systems.
- Perform other duties, as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Grade 12 Diploma/GED, College Diploma in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, CAFM or related field.
- Must have a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check including Vulnerable Sector Search, Child, and Adult Abuse Registry Checks **conditions of employment.**
- 2 - 3 years in accounting experience.
- Experience with budget, accounting, and reporting systems.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and provide support and guidance withing the Finance Department.
- Strong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Experience with Sage 300, accounts payable processing.
- Effective attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office productivity suite.
- Punctual and reliable.
