Duties
We are seeking a friendly and professional Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our office, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive experience for our clients. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Greeting and welcoming visitors in a warm and friendly manner
- Answering phone calls and directing them to the appropriate person or department
- Scheduling appointments and managing the office calendar
- Assisting with data entry and maintaining accurate records
- Providing general administrative support, such as filing, photocopying, and faxing
- Handling incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Ensuring the reception area is clean, organized, and presentable
**Skills**:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Previous experience in a customer support or receptionist role preferred
- Knowledge of dental office procedures is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail with strong proofreading abilities
- Proficient in using office equipment, such as printers, scanners, and fax machines
- Basic data entry skills with accuracy and efficiency
- Experience with Telus & WSIB billing
- Exceptional phone etiquette with the ability to handle multiple calls simultaneously
**Salary**: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
