We are a progressive and growing Transportation Group. We are active members of the PIR program.

Our HSE department is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Transportation Safety Lead. This role will report to the QHSE Director. This position will appeal to individuals who enjoy a challenging and fast paced work environment and those familiar with Transportation Compliance requirements (NSC & USA). A solid understanding of the transportationindustry is required. Must have 5 years + Transportation Safety experience.

Qualifications:

- Excellent oral, and written communication.
- **Excellent computer skills (Microsoft office, etc.).**:

- 5 years HSE & Transportation Safety experience.
- **Strong work ethic with high personal standards for performance.**:

- Ability to create and present (PowerPoint) presentations and reports.
- **COR auditor (internal) Certification AMTA (Considered an asset)** Class 1 License (Clean abstract).
- **CTSP- Considered an asset.**

Primary Responsibilities:

- Performing functions in support of the company’s HSE programs, including Transportation Compliance.
- **Maintain filing oversight (When required).**:

- Lead and conduct driver meetings as requested.
- **Providing support, as required, to third-party supplied training programs and courses.**:

- Maintaining personal HSE training certifications.
- **Complete incident reports and investigations - as required.**:

- Maintain HSE Incident register, & leading Indicator Program Statistics, weekly and monthly HSE reports and updates.
- **Maintain HSE internet reporting sites (ISN, ComplyWorks etc.)**:

- Perform WCB claim reporting, claim management, Modified work and RTW programs. **Some weekday travel will be required.**:

- Perform other related duties as required.

- **Performance of primary job responsibilities in an accurate, efficient, courteous, and enthusiastic manner.**:

- Active team membership, by cooperating, collaborating, and communicating relevant information with managers and coworkers.
- **Compliance with Employment Policy Agreement.**:

- Maintain good business practices and Ethics.
- **Appropriate self-management (punctuality, absences).**

We offer 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday), competitive salary, company benefits, 2 weeks’ paid vacation.


Pay: $90,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
