**Position Summary**:
We are looking for an **Inside Sales Representative **in Ontario Canada region reporting into Regional Sales Manager for Ontario. This position contributes to Nestlé Professional success by achieving sales targets as well as providing support to the field/ national account sales team through sales and marketing initiatives. The ISR also provides account management support to a portfolio of foodservice accounts through excellent customer service and identifying sales growth opportunities.
**A day in the life of...**:
As an inside sales representative, you will maintain customer files, contact information, track equipment and call history in customer record management system. Will you develop a call plan for your assigned region and contract identified target accounts to achieve assigned monthly sales and account maintenance goals. You will support the field sales team within your region.
You will also:
- Gather information directly and indirectly from internal and external customers to identify and implement creative solutions and resolve issues
- Develop, present, and negotiate recommended product, equipment, and merchandising solutions with accounts ensuring standards of brand, profitability, and account guardrails are achieved.
- Promote and sell a product portfolio through direct customer contacts and developed opportunities.
- Keep current on all portfolio products and related updates and changes including offerings, pricing, shipping, procedures, and promotions.
- Implement marketing & sales priorities (e.g. new product introductions, promotions)
- Support all customer service related inquiries and initiatives from both internal, external customer and field representatives.
- Answer customer inquiries related to SKU rationalizations, pricing changes and transfer of ownership of assets
- Troubleshooting and support account sign up
**What will make you successful**:
You will also have:
- A College or university Degree, preferably in Business Administration
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a sales role - inside or outside
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Microsoft Office knowledge (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
