**Department Overview**
- The Canadian P&C Finance Performance Measurement & Insights (PMI) team supports the development and achievement of the strategy and financial results for the Canadian P&C segment, which includes Personal Banking and Business Banking. The PMI Team oversees the full performance measurement lifecycle, seeks P&L optimization opportunities, and leads enterprise initiatives on behalf of Canadian P&C Finance. The team is also responsible for measuring and analyzing the strategies and financial results of TD's Canadian P&C peers, developing and maintaining industry knowledge and macro-economic awareness, recognizing and anticipating industry trends, identifying issues and opportunities, and providing recommendations to the senior leadership team.
- The Manager Finance, Performance Measurement & Insights (PMI), reports directly to the Senior Manager, PMI, and will work with a diverse team of professionals to provide financial performance, insightful, analysis, and recommendations on the Bank's largest business segment.

- Specific tasks include:

- Supporting the business performance reporting packages of monthly Canadian P&C results for the Senior Executive Team as well as the preparation of value-added analysis and recommendations for Canadian P&C Senior Management.
- Extracting critical pieces of information at the business unit level and understanding business drivers in order to develop key messages and highlights for Canadian P&C Senior Management.
- Supporting the management of the annual business planning and quarterly forecasting processes by playing a key role in guiding business results, strategy and decision-making capabilities through delivering accurate planning and forecasting results, identifying business opportunities and risks and value-added analysis and insights
- Coordinating with partners and stakeholders (e.g. Business Finance teams, Corporate Segment Finance, Enterprise Strategy and Decision Support, Treasury, and Risk Management) to ensure transparency and alignment of business plans/forecasts
- Developing and maintaining deep relationships with key business partners and other stakeholders across the Canadian P&C segment and the Bank.
- Closely collaborating with other members on the PMI team.
- Provide Finance Advisory thought leadership and support while performing ongoing financial and ad-hoc analysis, as applicable.
- Promoting a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, productivity, innovation, creativity, analysis and advice.

**Job Requirements**
- A finance professional with a broad range of financial management and advisory experience with an extensive understanding of the business and key financial drivers
- Possess an advanced level of expertise and financial acumen in order to provide insight on strategy development and be a strategic partner to the business on a broad range of financial matters
- Balanced approach, ability to stay resilient under pressure, with the ability to plan, manage, and prioritize multiple responsibilities
- A key element to this role is the ability to effectively work in teams across the bank with multiple stakeholders, influence and align others
- Demonstrated time management and organizational skills to meet tight deadlines as well as flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
- Confident presentation and facilitation skills and strong interpersonal and leadership skills to facilitate working with businesses and senior management at all levels
- Excellent analytical skills in assessing finance / market and business issues and exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
- Sound knowledge and understanding of the financial services industry and its products - specifically within the Canadian P&C space (i.e. Personal and Business Banking)
- Strong skills with MS Office products, including extensive knowledge of Excel
- Previous Hyperion experience considered a strong asset

**Education and Accreditation**
CPA/MBA/CFA with 5+ years of Finance / Banking experience considered a strong asset
