Procurement Assistant

**Overview**:
**Duties**:

- Assist in the procurement of goods and services following company policies and procedures.
- Support the purchaser in sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials from suppliers.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock is available.
- Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions.
- Handle accounts receivables tasks as needed, including invoicing and payment follow-ups.
- Oversee all documentation related to import and export activities, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies.
- Work closely with the logistics team to ensure smooth shipping and receiving processes.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their offerings.
- Assist in resolving any issues or discrepancies with suppliers or shipments.
- Maintain and update supplier information and contact details.
- Assist in preparing reports and analysis related to procurement activities.

**Skills**:

- Proficiency in procurement systems and tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes
- Ability to source, fabricate, and procure materials efficiently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Bilingual: French/English Essential Mandatory.
- Familiarity with accounts receivables processes and import/export documentation.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
