**Overview**:
BCLC’s two offices are located on the traditional, ancestral and unceded lands of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam Indian Band), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Peoples in Vancouver and the Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc territory, situated within the Secwépemc Nation in Kamloops. Our Operations Division manages both provincial & national lottery games as well as instant lotteries through over 3000 retail partners across the province. We provide the gaming technology and set standards, policies & procedures across 37 casino properties in BC, ensuring a high standard of security and integrity.

**Job Summary**:
The Digital Production Specialist is responsible for planning, scheduling, managing, front end development and implementation of all content on BCLC web properties. Responsibilities include; bug fixes, front end development, content management processes/workflows, content author support, scheduling, project management and successful implementation and maintenance of all content via content management systems (CMS) and tools, utilizing HTML, XML and JSON. This role works closely and collaboratively with the User Experience, Web Development, Product Development, and Marketing teams across BCLC.

**Accountabilities**:

- Manages operational content updates on multiple sites for multiple jurisdictions using a variety of tools and techniques.This includes scheduling, project management, taxonomy, data asset management and implementation;
- Devises strategies for content management processes and workflows to improve efficiency and costs;
- Builds cross-browser compatible web pages using established coding framework (HTML/XML/JSON/CSS/JS);
- Troubleshoots production UI and content issues;
- Builds and fosters working relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders from executive to business clients;
- Works with key stakeholders throughout the organization to implement solutions that satisfy business needs while improving operational efficiencies and addressing the complex needs of various stakeholder groups and compliance requirements.

**Minimum Required Qualifications**:
**Education and Experience**
- A degree or diploma in a related discipline such as digital content management, digital development, digital design or information technology;
- 3 to 5 years of current progressive experience in web-management;
- 3 to 5 years of current progressive experience in online or facility gaming;
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

**Technical Requirements**
- Strong understanding of HTML, including semantic mark-up and validation;
- Strong understanding of CSS, including use of Classes, Debugging, Chrome Developer Tools, SASS, LESS;
- Working knowledge of JavaScript Object Notation (JSON);
- Working knowledge of JavaScript and JavaScript Frameworks;
- Strong understanding and experience in web standards, cross browser compatibility issues, usability best practices;
- Strong understanding of web version control systems;
- Power internet/web user, in-depth knowledge of internet technologies and current trends;
- Solid knowledge of principles, concepts, practices, techniques and tools in the areas of project management and web production;
- Experience with usability and user-centric web design an asset;
- Ability to act on own initiative, to exercise sound judgment and to prioritize tasks;
