We are currently looking for **Lead Talent Acquisition Specialist** **with Skilled Trades Experience** to join our Corporate Team **in Nisku, AB**

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Lead the recruitment activities and partner with the hiring Managers and other various departments to identify staffing needs and requirements, determine selection criteria and align corporate goals
- Design job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position’s requirements
- Design interview and selection procedures, including zoom/teams screening calls, assessments
- Lead the Talent Acquisition specialists to Create and maintain a social media presence as it relates to talent acquisition
- Proactively participate in community activities to promote the organization’s brand through job fairs, networking opportunities, associations, etc
- Ensure the applicant Tracking System is maintained
- Lead and drive changes to improve the recruitment process
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to effectively manage multiple priorities

**What you bring**:

- Experience and success in leading the recruitment group in filling hard to fill, skilled trade roles.
- High levels of integrity, diplomacy, and tact, with an ability to always maintain confidentiality.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships inside and outside of the organization
- Strong computer skills with excellent formatting skills in Microsoft Office, JDE, project wise and experience with Taleo would be an asset
- Must have experience in skilled trades recruitment for shutdowns & turnarounds in the oil & gas sectors.
- Previous experience in recruiting for pipefitters, rig welders, journeyman welders and journeyman ironworkers, labourers.
- Able to perform the full cycle recruitment process
- Experience with a variety of social media tools and sourcing strategies
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office-Word, Excel
- Experience using JDEdwards, Taleo or other ATS software
