Business Support Specialist

**Job Description**:
Reporting to the Manager, Financial Operations Initiatives & Support, you will be responsible for providing business support for Individual Customer Finance and the Group Retirement Services Accounting Team. You ensure that all staff supported (existing and new) have the hardware, software, security access and other ad hoc support necessary to perform their day-to-day responsibilities. This role includes business as usual and project accountabilities.
**What you will do**
Access Request Coordination
- Support the creation and maintenance of role-based security profiles
- Coordinate access for various Active Directory Groups
- ICOFR terminations and modifications related to periodic/quarterly/yearly system access audits
- Respond to inbox inquiries in a timely and professional manner
Technical Support
- Consult/ liaise with IMAC, Identity Access Management (IAM), IT Service Experience, Service Desk, various other IS Support teams, etc. regarding issue identification and resolution
- Laptop hardware issue identification/resolution and assist with the management of laptop upgrades
- Submit requests for software installation and upgrades
- Early adopter for rollouts/upgrades of corporate systems
- Development/ maintenance of job aids, as required
- Provides one-on-one/ team support and training as required
Projects
- Reviews/contributes to the IS/Business documentation associated with these initiatives
**What you will bring**
- Ability to foster strong relationships with peers and business partners
- Demonstrated analysis and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing work assignments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated, takes initiative
- Strong technical background, including proficiency with MS Office Products
- Pervious experience in a tech support role is required
