**Your Opportunity**

Central Tax Service is recruiting for a **Permanent Part-Time (20-40 hours weekly) Receptionist** to join our office in Barrie. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for our clients, both in-person and on the phone. You will be responsible for conducting client intake interviews and providing administrative assistance to other team members.

**Key Responsibilities and Skills**:

- Serve as first point of contact for clients and visitors, welcoming them in a courteous and professional manner
- Conduct preliminary client intake interviews to collect essential information
- Manage incoming calls and client inquiries promptly, ensuring accurate information is collected and forwarded to appropriate person
- Maintain, organize, and update client files and intake documentation
- Provide administrative assistance to other team members as assigned
- Open, sort, and distribute incoming regular mail and electronic mail and other material and coordinate the flow of information internally
- Undertake administrative responsibilities, including filing, photocopying, and data entry
- Maintain a clean and inviting reception and office area at all times
- Manage inventory of office supplies and place orders as necessary
- Other duties as assigned

**Job Requirements**:

- High school diploma
- 1+ year of experience in a client service or receptionist position, preferably within an accounting or tax service setting
- Knowledge and understanding of bookkeeping/accounting principles an asset
- Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
