Shipping and Receiver Coordinator

Located in Iroquois, ON, Craig Packaging is one of Chicago-based Republic Packaging Corp.'s eight North American operating locations. As a 60-year-old provider of cushion packaging Republic Packaging is known for outstanding design, quality, and customer service - Craig, which specializes in corrugated packaging, shares the same tremendous design, quality, and service capabilities as our parent. In addition, we have a sister company, Impacte, which provides warehouse management services that can complement our packaging products or be a stand-alone service to provide solutions to our customer’s problems.

Focusing on the future and growth, we are actively working to grow our sales by 50% over the next 3 years and enter new markets with innovative packaging and service offerings. We are seeking an experienced Shipping and Receiver Coordinator to join our team.

Role responsibilities:

- Coordinate inbound and outbound material flow.
- Collaborate with Customer Service and other internal stakeholders, ensuring finished good delivery times are met.
- Support inventory control functions including cycle counts and reconciliations.
- Participate in physical inventory activities.
- Process shipping and receiving documentation.
- Facilitate inbound material inspections, performing such when necessary.
- Coordinate schedules between Customer Service, Purchasing and transportation providers.
- Maintain a safe working environment and that equipment maintenance intervals are adhered to.
- Participate in regular production planning meetings.

What you bring:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in material handling, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong multi-tasking skills and attention to detail.
- Strong knowledge of dock operations and inventory practices.
- User-level experience with the Microsoft Office suite of products.
- WMS experience a plus.
- Ability to lift 25Kg and stand for long periods of time.
- Team player mentality with excellent communication skills.
