You are committed to working in a volunteer-based environment. You enjoy a flexible work schedule, which includes some evenings and weekends.

The Distress Centre will provide comprehensive training for this position but a post-secondary degree in a relevant discipline with 2 to 3 years’ experience would be helpful, preferably in program coordination, social services, or adult education. You reside in the Ottawa-Gatineau region, hold a valid driver’s licence and have access to a vehicle. You are comfortable working with computers. You are willing to work onsite and have flexibility to work evenings. Preference will be given to applicants who are able to communicate in both English and French.
