**Position Description**:
**Here's What You'll Get To Do**

Main Contact for the SCPDF Program
- Act as the key contact for applicants, Vice Presidents/Chiefs, Directors and Managers and the SCPDF Review Committees on questions and issues related to the SCPDF; improve organizational knowledge of the fund's guidelines and processes.
- Facilitate Review Committee meetings: act on decisions, obtain required information from applicants and their Managers/Directors/Vice Presidents/Chiefs, keep Committee members informed and ensure timely decision making.
- Increase awareness of the SCPDF through internal marketing and presentations to teams and committees.
- Ensure SCPDF policies and webpage content are up-to-date.

Accountability for End-to-End Application Review Process
- Work closely with Information Services to troubleshoot implementation issues and to design and implement future system modifications/improvements.
- Chair Review Committee meetings: facilitate discussion and ensure consistency of decision making.
- Sit on the SCPDF Oversight Committee (SCPDF Coordinator, Manager, Learning Institute, and Executive Director, Leading Institute): address program-level issues, monitor program budget, make recommendations for process improvement, plan annual SCPDF Advisory Committee Meeting.
- Communicate Review Committee decisions (approval or decline) to each applicant and their manager in a timely manner.
- Monitor the program, identify issues, develop potential solutions and overall enhancements to the program, modify the program and implement changes as required, communicate program changes, ensure ongoing quality control.

Database and Systems Development
- Work with internal partners (i.e., Human Resources and Finance) to ensure accurate and timely processing of reimbursements.
- Develop and implement appropriate controls/audits to ensure the integrity of the database.
- Identify system deficiencies and propose solutions to address them.

Financial Management, Budgeting and Data Analysis
- Process reimbursements for approved expenses.
- Reconcile monthly payments, liaising with internal partners (i.e., Finance and Human Resources) to complete monthly tracking and reconciliation.
- Monitor year-to-date financial commitments and reimbursements.
- Design and generate ad hoc reports and presentations, including analysis of data.
- Monitor budget, communicate as required to the Oversight Committee.
- Partner with the SickKids Foundation and provide information for annual donor impact reports.

Essential Requirements
- Post-secondary degree or diploma and 2-3 years relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and database management.
- Strong financial management skills.
- Exceptional customer service, interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Demonstrates tact, sensitivity and diplomacy in dealing with various client/user groups.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills; highly detail oriented.
- Self-motivated and works well both independently and as a member of a team.
- Ability to manage competing priorities.
- Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) and experience advancing EDI objectives.

Assets
- Project management training and/or experience.
- Degree, diploma or training in business, financial management, computer science or equivalent.
