Indigenous Community Advocate and Sales

**Position Overview**:
Key Responsibilities:
- **Community Engagement**:Establish and maintain meaningful relationships with Indigenous community leaders and members to understand their cultural values, needs, and aspirations related to energy efficiency and environmental sustainability.
- **Sales & Advocacy**:Promote Greenfoot Energy Solutions’ products and services, including insulation, air sealing, ventilation, solar energy, and heating/cooling systems, ensuring these solutions align with the community's goals for energy conservation.
- **Education & Training**:Collaborate with communities to provide training and educational workshops on energy-efficient infrastructure, renewable energy integration, and sustainable practices.
- **Partnership Development**:Work closely with Indigenous communities to tailor energy efficiency programs and solutions, ensuring that each program reflects the unique needs of the community.
- **Cultural Stewardship**:Respect and honor Indigenous traditions and practices, promoting a collaborative approach that values the environmental stewardship of each community
- **Program Support**:Assist in creating and supporting community engagement programs such as workshops, sponsorships, and educational events related to energy conservation and sustainability.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience working with or advocating for Indigenous communities.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience in sales, particularly in promoting sustainable products or services, is an asset.
- Understanding of energy efficiency solutions and renewable energy.
- Commitment to environmental sustainability and cultural respect.
- Ability to travel and work within multiple Indigenous communities in British Columbia.
