The House of Commons Parliamentary Precinct Operations is currently looking to staff the Support Officer, Financial position.

In this role, you will provide services related to the financial operations, analysis, monitoring, and reporting of expenditures and budgets. You will ensure the accuracy of financial data by conducting detailed reviews, analysis, recovery efforts, and reconciliations. Your insights will guide critical evaluations, allowing you to draw conclusions and provide recommendations that enhance financial management practices while ensuring compliance with policies, regulations, and accounting principles. You will advise clients on the use of best practices in the areas of accounting operations business planning.

**Qualifications** Education**:

- Post-secondary diploma in a field related to the duties of the position OR an acceptable combination of relevant education, training and experience.

**Experiences**:

- Experience in researching, compiling, and analyzing data, ensuring quality assurance, preferably in a finance
- related context.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

**Assets**:

- Experience using an Integrated Financial System such as Business World.
- Experience in financial planning, budget preparation and expenditure verification.
