**What You Will Do**
- Develop, refine, and deliver training modules in alignment with CTS service priorities set by the Director of Harm Reduction and guided by the latest harm reduction best practices. Ensuring that all staff receive comprehensive training in essential areas such as NVCI, First Aid/CPR/BLS, NEO, and other specified training, contributing to a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment (i.e. training and resources on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), cultural safety, trauma-informed care, and self-Care/Well-being).
- Design and conduct regular orientation programs for new hires (inclusive of security personnel), emphasizing CTS service priorities and security protocols. Regularly updating orientation materials to reflect changes in priorities or protocols as directed.
- Coordinate, deliver and/or facilitate educational workshops/presentations to increase knowledge about issues relevant to harm reduction and the full substance use continuum, both internally and with collaborating external partners as required/ requested. Also, providing relevant supports, referrals, education, and information, as required/ requested.
- Implement and monitor basic security protocols in line with CTS service delivery priorities and the evolving landscape of safety & security harm reduction best practices in CTS settings. Assist in conducting routine safety assessments to address immediate concerns and training/ drills to ensure compliance with established protocols. Liaising with community members as required.
- Maintain detailed records of training activities and incident reporting, ensuring alignment with service priorities, harm reduction principles, and safety/ security protocols. Generating reports on training effectiveness and compliance for management and other interest holders.

**What You Will Bring**
- Post-secondary education or demonstrated experience related to Education, Training and/or Health & Safety is desired.
- Post-secondary education or experience in Social Services is beneficial.
- Experience in developing, facilitating and/or delivering training aligned with specific service priorities and informed by harm reduction best practices.
- Program design, delivery and evaluation knowledge and skills.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in documentation, report writing, and record-keeping.
- Knowledge and skills related to working with people who are living with, at risk of or impacted by HIV/HCV; who may be vulnerable and marginalized; and may also be experiencing challenges related to mental health, addictions, and homelessness.
- Crisis intervention knowledge and skills.
- Social services knowledge and skills, including availability of community resources.
- Knowledge of relevant employment legislation, including occupational health and safety.
- Safe sharps handling and disposal knowledge and skills.
- Computer software skills.
- The ability to work a non-traditional schedule and flexibility in scheduling will be required based on the training needs of the program.
