Luff Industries is currently accepting resumes for Inside Sales Representatives to join our growing team.
**The Job**:
This role will be based out of our Calgary/Rockyview, Alberta facility.
Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, the Inside Sales Representative is often the first point of contact for Luff Customers and will address all manners of customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
This role will primarily process purchase orders and RFQs submitted by existing Luff customers and act as the key point of contact when customers are looking for updates on their orders or quotes. Our Inside Sales Representatives build, develop, and maintain strong levels of trust in our business relationships with our valued customers.
To be successful in this role the Inside Sales Representatives must work collaboratively with their teammates throughout the organization team to ensure that the needs of our customers are always being met.
**As a Luff Inside Sales Representative your work will include**:
- Processing incoming customer purchase orders. Preparing accurate and timely quotes for customers.
- Providing updates to customers on the status of their orders and requests.
- Ensuring that customer supplied information is complete and accurate and communicates with customers to clarify any information that may be missing or incomplete.
- Reviewing part numbers and product specifications to provide accurate information to customers.
- Updating and maintaining customer information in the company’s database and keeps accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Working with the order writing / quoting department to resolve any challenges that occur during the quoting process.
- Working with logistics / freight team to ensure that any issues with customer orders are resolved.
- Addressing incoming complaints and concerns from customers by working with the required internal teams such as quality and production to address and correct and generating RMAs.
- Any other duties as required for the success of the business.
**Who We are looking for**:
Successful Applicants will also bring a combination of the following skills, education, and experience:
- **Customer Service**: Provides excellent customer service to both internal and external customers and recognizes the specific needs of their assigned client base and works to meet these needs.
- **Communication**: Communicates clearly and concisely by utilizing skills in written and spoken communications. Able to communicate with stakeholders of all levels both within and outside of the organization in clear and easy to understand terms.
- **Education**:Completion of Highs chool is required. Further education in sales or administration is a strong asset.
- **Experience**:At least 3 years of related work experience in manufacturing sector customer service role.
- **Mathematical Ability**:Basic math and measuring skill for working with precision measurements and fractions and the ability to perform basic to intermediate calculations relating to sales.
- **ERP Experience**:Prior experience using an ERP / CMS platform to process customer requests and for entry of quotes and orders. Strong skill using ERP systems for entering quotes and purchase orders.
- **Training / Certifications**:Training in quoting / estimating and the fundamental of sales and customer service is a strong asset.
- **Time Management**: Able to balance competing priorities to meet deadlines for both internal and external customers and able to communicate any needs or challenges that may affect the delivery in a timely manner.
- **Attention to Detail**: Focused on ensuring that work is completed properly the first time by ensuring that data being entered and received is accurate and current. Seeks to obtain any required information to ensure accuracy.

**Compensation**:This is a salary position with a starting rate of between $40,000.00 - $55,000 annually. The final starting wage will be based on the successful applicant’s combination of skills and experience. Future increases will be based on ongoing individual performance.
Inside Sales representatives will be eligible to participate in the **company commission program after 3 months of employment.**
Pay: $40,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
