BLANCO Canada currently has an opening for a Maintenance Planner in our manufacturing facility. Reporting to the Senior Tools & Maintenance Manager, this position is responsible for the coordination of all maintenance activities at the Toronto Manufacturing plant, including the mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks as well as maintenance tasks related to facility management.

**Responsibilities**:
**Maintenance Planning**
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly work schedule based on available manpower, needed tasks and production schedule.
- Optimizing PM intervals and tasks.
- Assist with maintenance and analysis of Predictive Maintenance tasks.
- Work closely with Maintenance Supervisor and Production Supervisors to plan maintenance activities and inventory parts to improve maintenance performance in support of production and productivity improvement goals.
- Maintain the Computerized Maintenance System
- Generate and schedule work orders from the maintenance system
- Assist in the maintenance and the analysis of the maintenance system

**Inventory Management**
- Tracking, ordering, optimizing, and cost analysis of the part inventory.
- Pickup and deliver maintenance parts in emergencies.
- Assist Maintenance Supervisor in daily purchasing and sourcing services and associated paperwork.
- Facility maintenance and subcontractor follow-up
- Forklifts, Hoists ,Fire system, Civil and structural inventory

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education with technical background - electrical, PLC’s or mechanical
- 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Good project management skills (set priorities, handle multiple projects)
- High standards for best practices and quality of work.
- Must be able to work effectively and safely in a fast-paced environment.
- Good knowledge of tools, machining processes, and manufacturing processes.
- Strong knowledge and familiarity of mechanical and electrical maintenance spare parts.
- Good knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and computerized maintenance system,
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and SAP an asset
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills

**Working Conditions**:

- Manufacturing environment where noise and dust are part of the day to day working conditions along with heavy machine exposure.
- Personal protective equipment necessary at all times.
- This individual can be required to work overtime and infrequently on weekends.

**Salary**: $85,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
