**About the role**

**Position Summary**

This position is primarily responsible for coordinating and monitoring the work within the Team. Provides leadership, guidance, support and coaching to the team members. Sets priorities and establishes clear performance objectives to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity, while ensuring that all work adheres to accepted standards and company policies and procedures.

**What you’ll do here**:

- Lead and motivate staff by providing ongoing feedback, support, coaching, training and recognition
- Establish and communicate clear performance objectives and continually measuring the progress on the attainment of these objectives
- Set priorities to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity to achieve the objectives of the team
- Participates in the day-to-day operations to ensure that objectives are met, exceptional service is attained, and the company policies and procedures are followed
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement system and procedural changes, to improve workflows
- Prepare, review, and analyze results, which include aged outstanding payments, management reports, and volume of workload
- Maintain appropriate internal controls, documentation, and monitoring in accordance to accepted standards and company policies and procedures
- Lead the preparation of process documents
- Drive change while maintaining effective communication to ensure your team is informed of new initiatives, processes and/or workflows
- Build work team environment with the assistance and input from the team members
- Ensure a high level of employee engagement by continually monitoring overall engagement and creating and executing engagement action plans

**What you bring to the table**:

- University degree in Business or Accounting and an Accounting designation (or near completion) or any combination of equivalent education and experience
- More than 2 years of leadership experience
- Intermediate to advance Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Lookups, and Formulas etc.)
- Ability to manage deadlines, multiple tasks and well organized
- Ability to create and maintain strong working relationships
- No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
