**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop, implement, and continuously improve the organization's safety program, policies, and procedures to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and customer specifications.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies, ensuring compliance with all applicable safety regulations and maintaining necessary permits and certifications.
- Manage and maintain certifications and accreditations relevant to safety management systems.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including management and field operations, to establish safety goals, objectives, and performance metrics.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of the safety program and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive safety training programs for employees at all levels of the organization, covering topics such as hazard recognition, emergency response, and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor and analyze safety-related data, including incident reports, near misses, and leading indicators, to identify trends and implement proactive measures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Liaise with customers and external stakeholders to understand and address safety requirements and expectations, ensuring alignment with organizational policies and capabilities.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards, assess risks, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Provide guidance and support to field personnel on safe work practices, equipment usage, and hazard mitigation measures.
- Deliver effective safety training programs for employees, contractors, and subcontractors, covering topics such as personal protective equipment (PPE), emergency response, etc.
- Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and other stakeholders to integrate safety considerations into project planning and execution processes.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses to determine root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
- Maintain accurate records of safety-related activities, including inspections, training sessions, incident reports, and corrective actions.
- Take a lead role in coordinating and managing all aspects related to skilled trades, including hiring processes, training initiatives, apprenticeship programs, and competency assessments, to ensure that safety considerations are integrated into these processes effectively.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, a related field, or the equivalent of experience. Advanced certifications preferred.
- Proven experience of a minimum of 7 years in safety management, with a track record of successfully developing and implementing safety programs in complex organizational environments.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant safety regulations, standards, and management systems.
- Strong leadership abilities, with the capacity to inspire and motivate others to prioritize safety and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
