**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Perform trading in accounts as instructed by CIO, including bulk trades in managed, ensuring fairness policy for all clients.
- Perform administration for managed accounts platform, including processing documentation and adding client details to NPW’s platforms.
- Perform client service for managed accounts platform, ensuring strong communication and always an excellent service to advisors.
- Examine and assess economic and market trends, earnings prospects, financial statements, and various other indicators and factors to determine suitable investment strategies.
- Monitor closely financial press and keep track of market trends, opportunities, risks, and new investment products.
- Product Officer duties, including:

- Reviewing new products for the Product Review Committee and communicating results as instructed to the advisors (i.e., direct communication as well as assisting with creating PRC bulletins).
- Participate in Product Review Committee meetings.
- Be a resource and guide to NPW advisors for their KYP duties.
- Complete firm-required KYP (monitor existing approved products, provide notice to firm and advisors when material changes occur).
- Create monthly reviews, reporting, and communication to advisors and clients, as determined by the CIO.
- Responsible to know and follow all policies and procedures as provided in NPW’s policies and procedures and what is otherwise provided by the Compliance Department and NPW Bulletins (Compliance and Operations bulletins etc).
- Responsible for reporting how to improve procedures or create efficiencies related to the platforms and the Committees/teams when seeing a way to do so.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting or related field.
- Master's degree in finance is an asset.
- 5+ years experience as Investment and portfolio management experience.
- Eligible to be registered as a Portfolio Manager.
- CFA designation obtained or in progress is an asset.
- Experience using financial analysis software’s.
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding Excel skills (VBA knowledge an asset).
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written in English and French (an asset).
