Berkshire Enterprises is looking for an administrative assistant to our Senior Management team. This is a temporary to full time position available from July 2023 for a minimum term of 1 year.

**About Us**

Berkshire Enterprises Inc, and its group of companies, specialize in acquisition and redevelopment of land across Ontario. Current ventures have extended to development of mental health and retirement facilities to accommodate the growing need in our communities. Additionally, our portfolio includes residential homes and commercial buildings.

**The Role**

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing a broad range of administrative and general office support. The main responsibility will be to provide complete administrative support to the CEO in his tasks, with extended assistance to the President of the company and the team, as needs arise.

**Responsibilities**
- Maintain and manage CEO’s appointment schedule by coordinating, organizing and planning activities, such as meetings and travel
- Monitor progress of all ongoing projects to adhere to schedule and requirements
- Engage in and follow through on correspondence with third parties and independently overseeing completion of tasks
- Prepare documentation, presentations, and reports
- Maintain an effective filing system on the cloud drive and in hard copy storage
- Assist the accounting department with cheque preparation and A/P, as needed
- Provide reception relief and front-desk support
- Order and maintain office supplies
- Other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Three years of administrative assistant experience or equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Skype)
- Knowledge of office administration and procedures
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
- Real estate industry experience is an asset
- Booking experience is an asset
- Knowledge of Sage 50 Simply Accounting is a strong asset

**Salary**: $31,000.00-$164,450.41 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
