Miriam has the mandate to provide rehabilitation and social integration services to persons with Intellectual Disabilities and/or Autism Spectrum Disorders across the lifespan. Our goal is to treat and support children, adolescents and adults with intellectual disabilities and/or autism spectrum disorders, and help them reach their full potential as individuals.

**Job description ** Temporary contract**

**GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Offer intervention and support to clients in temporary placement (on site in Laval residential complex).
- Support client in activity of daily living;
- Assess the client's specific needs;
- Implement behavioural plans (Plan d'action multimodale en trouble grave du comportement)
- Implement interventions and make the necessary adaptations in order to manage and supervise behaviours according to the client's abilities;
- Provide support to other staff members in the implementation of interventions;
- Write and transmit to the person concerned observation reports, evaluation reports, behavioural summaries and any other required documentation.

**ACADEMIC TRAINING**
- Hold a diploma of fourteen (14) years of general education or a Diploma of Collegial Studies (DEC) in special education techniques or a BAC in social sciences, psychology or any other similar program, or hold a comparative evaluation of studies completed outside Quebec, issued by the appropriate ministry,

**KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE**
- Experience with ASD and ID clients;
- Experience with children and teens;
- Experience with behavioural challenges (an asset);
- Bilingualism needed (French and English).
- Proficiency in the Office suite and Sipad (an asset);

**Job Types**: Temps partiel, Contrat à durée déterminée, Occasionnel

Part-time hours: 10-30 per week

**Salary**: $24.78-$35.67 per hour
