**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a Decision Support Lead to work closely with key health partners in Ottawa and the OHT-ÉSO backbone team. This role will lead the development of decision support frameworks and tools that integrate data analytics, performance measurement, and strategic planning to inform and optimize care delivery. They will also act as the project lead for OHT-ÉSO performance measurement activities and be responsible for stakeholder engagement and workplan development, ensuring that milestones are met, that the projects are achieving their objectives and that the OHT-ÉSO successfully achieves its mandate, in alignment with the goals and objectives of the initiative.
This position will work closely with the OHT-ÉSO partner organizations and backbone team, and report to the Director to accomplish objectives and goals.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the development and implementation of decision support tools that enhance data-driven decision-making across OHT-ÉSO projects
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify key data needs and ensure the integration of relevant data sources for comprehensive analysis
- Support the evaluation of care models and pathways to inform continuous improvement efforts
- Lead the development and implementation of a Decision Support Strategy that aligns with the goals and objectives of the OHT-ÉSO, incorporating performance measurement, data analytics and strategic insights
- Provide strategic advice and recommendations to OHT-ÉSO leadership to support direction setting on key projects and programs within the Decision Support portfolio
- Lead projects and activities within the Decision Support portfolio by engaging partners, developing work plans, and reporting on progress
- Develop communication tools and strategies to effectively convey decision support insights, performance metrics, and strategic recommendations to stakeholders

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary degree in health, social sciences, business or a relevant discipline (master’s degree preferred).
- 3+ years recent and relevant experience in decision support, data analytics, project management or evaluation (preferably within the healthcare sector_
- Demonstrated experience coordinating performance measurement projects/programs on collaborative initiatives with multiple stakeholders
- Experience with advanced Excel techniques, dashboard visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau), interpreting and investigating patterns in performance data (e.g. trends and subgroup comparisons).
- Experience in translating complex data into actionable insight for healthcare decision-makers
- Demonstrated understanding of the health sector, including primary care, acute care, home care, long-term care, and community support services
- Demonstrated understanding of performance measurement within the health system context, including performance indicators, data infrastructure, and data collection processes.
- Demonstrated understanding of population health management frameworks and approaches to performance measurement
- Demonstrated knowledge of quality improvement methodologies and tools
- Commitment to health equity, anti-racism, anti-oppression, and client and family co-design
