Job Overview

Ottawa Inner City Health is seeking an experienced Clinical Physician to join our team. As a key member of the Clinical Services Team, you will work closely with host and partner organizations to provide high-quality healthcare services to clients/patients.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the design of clinical protocols that are effective and appropriate for the inter-organizational nature of this project.
  • Support nurses and nurse practitioners in providing safe and appropriate care to clients.
  • Provide clinical supervision to members of the clinical services team and supervise students.
  • Contribute to the design of training and orientation modules and act as a resource within training sessions.
  • Facilitate collaboration with other service providers and professionals.
Requirements
  • Medical degree and residency from a recognized university.
  • CCFP Certification or RCPF from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
  • License to practice from the Ontario College of Physicians and Surgeons.
  • Knowledgeable about harm reduction strategies.
  • Five to ten years of experience in a community-based primary care setting.
Personal Suitability
  • Able to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
  • Flexible approach to client care.

This is a full-time position with a salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
