The Consultant, Quality Improvement and Evaluation will play a key role in developing and implementing evaluation and quality improvement activities to support theRegional Geriatric Program of Southwestern Ontario (RGPSWO), facilitating the utilization of evaluation measures and quality improvement methodologies across regional initiatives. The work of this role will model evidence-based evaluation practices and foster the adoption of evaluation frameworks to inform quality improvement cycles. A key function of the role will be to support the collection and utilization of data to inform quality improvement activities within multiple teams across the region providing care to older adults with frailty. The Consultant, Quality Improvement and Evaluation will also work closely with provincial Evaluation and Quality Improvement colleagues.
This position will work closely with the rest of the Regional Geriatric Program of Southwestern Ontario team to fulfill provincial and regional objectives and will report to the Coordinator of Regional Initiatives of theRegional Geriatric Program of Southwestern Ontario.

**Essential Qualifications**
- Master Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Master of Science - Health Informatics, Master of Arts in Measurement, Evaluation and Statistics, Master of Epidemiology, Master of Health Administration, Master of Quality Improvement and Patient Safety, Master of Healthcare Quality)
- Minimum 5 years progressive experience in quality improvement and evaluation preferably in a health care setting
- Knowledge of a Safety Culture in a Health Care Setting in compliance with the OHSA
- Demonstrated experience working with health care data bases
- Proven ability to:

- Leverage a solid understanding of the healthcare system (primary care, acute care, community care, mental health and addictions, Long term care) and awareness of the unique challenges experienced between and with the various settings and sectors
- Build trusting and positive relationships with stakeholders across the healthcare system, demonstrating tact and diplomacy, strong influencer skills, and highly developed interpersonal skills
- Use data to drive change, along with a demonstrated familiarity with quantitative data sources and analysis
- Demonstrate understanding of and explain data reports in different ways to different stakeholders.
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills including the ability to recognize the relationship between diverse aspects of the health care system.
- Meet commitments on a consistent and timely basis with changing priorities and multiple deadlines.
- Be self-directed and to work well independently as well as within a team environment
- Manage multiple projects and constantly adjust priorities
- Demonstrate excellent report writing and effective presentation skills
- Demonstrate competence in data analysis and data visualization, as well as computer skills including experience with software such as PowerBI, Visio or Tableau and intermediate level Microsoft Excel skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Proficiency in French would be an asset

**Immunization Requirements**
- Provide documentation you have received two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine (primary series, boosters and/or XBB) OR one dose of XBB vaccine at least 14 days prior to the start date.
- Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (chicken pox)
- Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing
