**Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Office Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Use professional judgment to screen, prioritize and determine appropriate action for incoming calls and inquiries.
- Assist with accounts payables, accounts receivables and payroll duties.
- In consultation with department managers, assists with master scheduling and sick call replacement; communicates staffing/scheduling changes to the team as required.
- Provide support for general administrative needs such as compiling, designing, reviewing and coordinating various materials for presentations and confidential documents.
- Typically performs a variety of routine office duties involving record and file maintenance.
- Handle daily calendar including scheduling of meetings and appointments.
- Other administrative duties as required.

**Recruitment Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for all external job postings; screens applicants for various positions; and assists with hiring practices (i.e. scheduling interviews; reference checks; new hire orientation; etc.).
- Maintain records of all materials used for recruitment, including interview notes and related paperwork.
- Other recruitment and talent acquisition duties as required.

**Required Skills**:

- Knowledge and background in accounting, payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable
- Knowledge of human resource practices, labour laws, Employment Standards Act and Accessible Customer Service Standards are an asset.
- Experience working with seniors and staff in Long Term Care and/or the Community setting is preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

**Qualifications**
- Office administration/business certificate from a recognized institution.
- 2-3 years of previous office administrative and/or human resource experience
- Advanced skills in MS Office (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Vulnerable Sector Police Check and Two Step TB test within 6 months.
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (proof of vaccination required).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $23.88 per hour
